Welcome to the website of Penknap Providence Church and Ebenezer Baptist Church. We are two local Baptist churches who share a vision for proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of our area. We meet at Penknap and Ebenezer to worship God and learn more about him from the Bible. We would like you to share the joy of knowing Jesus as Lord and Saviour
We have a joint-pastor, Guy Davies who has been our minister since November 2003.
The churches remain independent, each with its own membership and church officers. But we co-operate closely and meet alternately at Penknap and Ebenezer for prayer and Bible study.
Our churches are Evangelical and Reformed, holding that salvation is through grace alone, by faith alone, in Christ alone to the glory of God alone. Both churches affirm the 1689 London Baptist Confession and are affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches.
